Brendan McCaul
Joined General film Distributors in Sept. '55 direct from school in the Publicity Dept. servicing cinemas with posters trailors stills etc. Two years later I was transferred to the booking dept., dealing directly with film bookers and programming product to mutual effect.
1965 – Transferred to Belfast as territory salesman [GFD later became Rank Film Dis.] and had Universal Pictures franchise.
1977 – Joined Walt Disney Productions as Manager for Ireland.
1987 – Joined 20th Century Fox as Manager for Ireland.
1993 – Joined BVI as Manager for Ireland.
1995 – Awarded International Salesman of the Year.
1996 – Promoted to Vice President BVI Ireland.
2002 – Awarded ’Spirit of Disney’ Award at BVI’s 10th International Sales Convention.
2006 – Retired.
