Winner of Scottish Radio Personality of the Year and Broadcast Critics Award. Runner Up in Rose D’Or, Montreaux.

Paul has worked as a presenter for BBC 1 on The Holiday Show. He also was main presenter and cinema reviewer on Garden Party and Pebble Mill At One. He was sole presenter for BBC 2 on both the long running Catchword quiz show and Tricks Of The Trade, for ITV on Heaven Knows and The Birthday Show, and he was the voice who opened three new channels - Channel Four, Disney’s ABC1 TV channel, and TV Travel. He also presented Sky TV’s film review show, Preview.

In radio, Paul has worked as a presenter for Radio Two, LBC, Radio Clyde and Radio Scotland.

Paul’s favourite guests from all the hundreds of celebrities he has interviewed are Peter Cushing, Robin Williams, Sean Connery and Stephen Spielberg. His least favourite is Hollywood legend Robert Mitchum who took sullen to a new level.

Paul is currently broadcasting on the Smooth Radio national network, and also on Radio Clyde in Glasgow.
